An Introduction to Mindfulness
Practical tools for a calmer mind and a more present life.
In a world that is constantly demanding our attention, finding a moment of stillness can feel like a luxury. But mindfulness isn’t about clearing your mind of all thoughts—it’s about changing your relationship with them.
As a Mindfulness Educator, I help groups and organizations integrate simple, accessible practices into daily life. Whether you are new to the practice or looking to deepen your routine, my classes provide the tools to build a more resilient, present, and calm way of being.
Mindfulness is a skill that can be learned, practiced, and mastered. I teach the MIEA curriculum (formerly Koru Mindfulness), a structured program specifically designed to help adults manage stress, increase focus, and build a sustainable meditation practice.
Whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen an existing practice, this 4-week series offers a clear, evidence-based path to living with more presence and less overwhelm.
My Approach
Evidence-Based Practice I teach the MIEA curriculum because it is grounded in research and specifically designed for the challenges of modern life. We move beyond “vague” relaxation into concrete, proven skills.
Intimate Group Learning By limiting classes to 12 students, I prioritize a “brave space” for group discussion. We learn not just from the curriculum, but from the shared experience of practicing together.
- Practical Integration Meditation shouldn’t be a chore on your to-do list. My focus is on teaching “portable” skills—tools you can use in the middle of a meeting, a commute, or a difficult conversation.
